Classic Car Overview

1930 Ford Model A Tudor Sedan For consignment, a 1930 Ford Model A Tudor sedan showing 132 miles, but the true miles are unknown. This street rod version of a Tudor sedan pays homage to Hilborn injection with a snazzy retro graphic on the doors and is a stunning example of old school hot rod construction. Exterior The chopped top and lowered chassis presents an eye-catching profile enhanced by the Butternut Cream paint just about flawlessly executed in two stage application. The radiator shell sits just proud of the cowl enhancing the menacing profile that is punctuated by 15-inch Rocket wheels in staggered format with and with varied sized tires that are no older than late 2021. Small tail lights barely interrupt the smooth back and the visible rear axle is color matched to the body for extra attention to detail. The graphic on the door is crisp and pleasantly retro and the colors blend well with the overall exterior palette. Descending via a dramatic rake, the roofline finds its way to a narrow windshield that overlooks the showy, exposed engine. The paint and trim is excellent on this car and a single touched up scratch is the only imperfection we find. Interior A textured gray band interrupts the smooth black door card, creating an attractive gateway to the inside and presenting cleanly on both doors which open in the traditional way. Inside, a black ultraleather split bench seat sits on the floor and once youre in, a spectacular steering wheel and dash await. A stylized banjo type wheel with wood rim and assist knob on a polished column awaits your direction and behind it, the vented black dash and machine turned faceplate of the instrument cluster in the center, housing beautiful white face Stewart Warner retro gauges and billet knobs. A polished Lokar shifter and hand brake rise from the black carpeted floor, gleaming with showy intent. Behind the seats, black carpet covers a cargo area and package shelf created by the gas tank in an attractive and practical space. Drivetrain Ironically not fuel injected, but 100% show quality, we have a 350ci V8 with dual Holley 4-barrel carburetors on an Edelbrock intake. The finned scoops and finned valve covers are color matched to the body while just about every other part is polished to perfection. A TH350 3-speed automatic is married to the engine and sends power to a Ford 9 rear with 3.55 gears. Black headers deliver directly to pipes that streak rearward. Undercarriage Polished, painted, and picture perfect, the underside presents a show of its own. If its not in Butternut, its polished and every inch is spectacular. A 4.5 drop Super Bell front axle accompanies the transverse leaf spring up front while coil overs with ladder bars are employed out back. Power disc brakes are supplied to the front with power drums out back. We note a drop of oil on the rear differential, the only thing that veers from perfection on this side of things. Drive-Ability Loud and proud, this light yellow rod delivers us to the test loop where the 350 puts out good power, the fresher tires provide straight tracking and smooth turn-ins, and the brakes are capable and consistent. We note the horn is not working and the speedometer needle jumps around a bit, but beyond that, this incredible build operates just as intended. While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase. What a sweet chariot. Watch the people part and the heads turn as you parade this Butternut beauty into the show. This car deserves a carpeted floor and special lighting in your garage, or at least a special spot in your showroom. You simply cant build it for the price so dont hesitate to reach out, because its likely well not see dust accumulate on this street rod.
