The shifter is dressed in a black leather boot over a formed plastic center console and the low pile black carpet is protected by fitted mats up front but is open for viewing in the hatch area and it barely looks used. The entire interior looks like it jumped off the sales brochure pages. Drivetrain Attention to detail did not stop with the paint. The engine bay is just about showroom clean, housing the mighty 5.7 liter LS1 V8 rated at 350 horsepower and mated to a Tremec T56 6-speed manual transmission that sends power to the 3.42 gears with Limited Slip in back. Undercarriage General use patina is noted on the underside but nothing unusual or remarkable on the generally clean and dry belly. Dual exhaust runs tandem down the middle before meeting glasspack style mufflers and exiting through chrome tips. Power disc brakes are employed in front and back and suspension consists of independent unequal length double wishbones with transverse composite monoleaf springs and monotube shocks. Drive-Ability Quick, nimble and tight, this Pewter Patriot handles turns like an Indy car and straight aways like a dragster.
