1969 Chevrolet C/K Truck

1969 Chevrolet C10 Pickup The C/K series was introduced in 1960 and remained in production until 2002 at which point the C/K was dropped but the Silverado name remained. Throughout their run they were a direct competitor to the Ford F series and Dodge D series. These classic pickups are very popular and this clean 1969 belongs to the second generation known as the Action Line trucks. A lot of features carried over from the previous generation but the bodies were completely redesigned from the ground up. The idea was to offer a more utilitarian vehicle that also was available with some luxuries offered in their Sedans. This C10 is a very nice custom truck that has gone through a full frame off build. It is painted in a very classic combination of light Blue and White that looks great. Between the colors custom airbrushing has been done to give it the look of having custom trim and it was very well done. This was also applied to the rear tailgate and front fenders to give the appearance of emblems. The tinted glass is all good throughout and the side windows have been converted to 1 piece windows eliminating the quarter windows for a more sleek look. The chrome all looks great and it wears the stock style front/rear bumpers. One very cool modification is the front hood, fenders, and grill are from a 1968 C10. The grill was then further modified to be a combination of painted sections with custom trim and relocated turn signals. The lights have all been converted to LED and the headlights have the halo ring. In back the bed was all redone with a combination of Rosewood and Maple. It is very nicely done with inlaid Rosewood being used instead of the stainless strips. In the bed is also where you will find the gas cap which is a nice upgrade because it gets the tank out from behind the seat in the cab. The truck has a very nice stance and sits on custom 20 inch US Mags wrapped with Nitto tires. Under the hood the truck was very cleanly finished out and is show ready. It features nicely painted White inner fenders and a White firewall. Everything was designed and completed with a close attention to detail. The 350 V8 motor runs great and a majority of it is painted in a nice gloss Red paint. It is fitted with 202 heads, a comp cam, Holley fuel injection system, Black finned air cleaner, Chevrolet valve covers, and a Vintage front runner serpentine belt system. It runs strong and is ready to go. Keeping it cool is an aftermarket aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. The truck sounds great through dual headers into dual exhaust that exits out of the rear. Combined with the motor is a 700R4 automatic transmission and a 12 bolt rear end. The suspension system has all been redone with 2 inch drop spindles and a Ridetech front sway bar. Power Steering and power (front disc) brakes are in place which make it a very comfortable truck to cruise around in. Other nice upgrades include the electric fuel pump. The interior of the truck is very nice
