1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 -
Not many times do you get another chance at a car this nice, originally sold in our 2020 Collector Car Auction. Coming to you for your bidding pleasure this iconic muscle car received a 5 year frame-off nut and bolt restoration, and it has been certified by a renown Camaro expert, Jerry MacNeish, in 2018. This Camaro is finished in the factory Burgundy paint with white stripes, a factory cowl hood, front and rear spoilers. This Z/28 was bought new in Spokane, WA from Camp Chevrolet, there have been 4 documented owners. It is well optioned and several of the original factory original paint/trim/body stampings were still faintly visible on the firewall during restoration and were retained as much as possible. It has the AIR smog pump as received from the factory. The previous owner of this car was the President of the local Camaro Club and was extremely careful in maintaining originality and correctness throughout every component of the restoration.
It is powered by the matching number, original, DZ302 V8 connected to a Muncie M21 4-speed and 12 bolt positraction rear end with 3.73 gears. It has power disc brakes and a period correct battery. This Z/28 runs and drives on the original Rally wheels and retro Goodyear white letter tires.
The interior features the standard black bucket seats and is all original; with the exception of the dash pad, carpet, and reupholstered driver’s seat. The console, 4-pack accessory gauges and a polished Hurst shifter are all original, including the factory AM Radio.
