The 2023 Audi R8 GT is Audis swan song for its naturally aspirated V-10 mid-engine supercar, and it doesnt hold back. Limited to just 333 units globally (about 150 for the USA), this special edition amplifies the thrills: a 5.2liter V10 that cranks out 602 horsepower and 413 lbsft of torque, sent to the rear wheels. To make the experience more raw and engaging, Audi added a new Torque Rear mode that lets the driver adjust how much wheel slip/oversteer is allowed via steeringwheelmounted controls.
On the aesthetic and build side, the R8 GT gets lighter and sharper. Audi sheds weight through lightweight forged 20inch wheels, carbon fiber aerodynamic components (front splitter, rear gooseneck wing, diffuser, side blades), carbonceramic brakes, and a carbonfiberreinforced plastic antiroll bar. The interior is a throwback to the original R8 GT: black with red accents red stitching, red seatbelts, model badging, carbon trim, and a plaque with the sequential number in the production run. This is the the last R8 V10, highly collectible and a part of sports car history.
