THE ASTON MARTIN DBS 770

In 2023, Aston Martin announced that its long-running, twelve-cylinder DBS grand tourer was reaching the end of its production run. To honor the car's illustrious run, engineers at Gaydon whipped pulled out all the stops and whipped up commemorative model to send off the car with a bang. Rather than simply adding some special leather and badges, the team cranked up the wick on the DBS to create the DBS 770 Ultimate the most powerful Aston Martin to ever hit the streets.

The 5.2-liter V12 belts out 759bhp and 664 lb-ft of torque, sending it to the rear wheels via a robust ZF-built 8-speed automatic transmission and a proper, old-fashioned mechanical limited slip differential. Performance claims are solidly in supercar territory, with the car reaching 60mph in about 3 seconds and a top speed of 211 mph.

To handle all that extra power, the 770 Ultimate has a stiffer structure courtesy of revised crossmembers and undertray, along with revised steering and damping. New 21-inch wheels, revised bumpers, and a host of interior upgrades set the 770 Ultimate apart from its standard brethren. Offered as both a coupe and open-topped Volante, just 499 units were built (300 coupes, 199 Volantes), and were sold out nearly as quickly as it was announced. A fitting swansong, indeed.

THE CAR OFFERED

Among the highlights of The Orange Collection is this incredible 2023 DBS 770 Ultimate Volante, one of just 199 produced. This car features unique touches from Aston's 'Q' personalization service, not least of which are the brilliant Cosmos Orange paint and distinctive Californian Poppy upholstery. It is a superb delivery-mileage example, displaying a scant 64 miles recorded at the time of cataloguing.

The fantastic spec is backed by a lengthy option list which includes Bang & Olufsen Audio, Gulf orange calipers, special paint, duotone interior, Q Special leather, satin carbon tonneau cover, interior and exterior carbon fiber packages, 21-inch ultimate wheels, and more. Accompanying items include the window sticker, battery tender, car cover, and a clean CARFAX report.

The DBS 770 sold out nearly as quickly as it was announced, as collectors scrambled to get their hands on Aston Martin's magnificent twelve-cylinder swansong. This car's unforgettable specification offers a unique opportunity to acquire a near-new example for your stable as exciting to look at as it is to unleash its mighty engine.
