The 2022 Corvette C8.R Special Edition was Chevrolets way of celebrating the incredible success of the factory Corvette Racing C8.R race car, which competed in endurance races around the world, including the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans. The package included exclusive graphics inspired by the race cars, unique C8.R badging, special interior details, yellow seat belts, a serialized plaque, and several appearance items that were not available together on a standard Stingray. It was offered in Accelerate Yellow or Hypersonic Gray, the same colors used on the championship-winning race cars. For 2022, Chevrolet produced 1,000 C8.R Special Editions, with 500 finished in Accelerate Yellow and 500 in Hypersonic Gray, making it one of the most highly collected and sought-after special-edition Corvettes of the C8 generation.
