Building on the "longtail" 600LT and based on the highly successful 570S GT4 racecar, the McLaren 620R is a dedicated track variant of the standard 570S. Producing 612hp out of its re-tuned twin-turbocharged 3.8L V8, the 620R can hit 62mph in only 2.9 seconds and hit a top speed of 200mph. An adjustable rear spoiler allows for up to 408lb of downforce at 155mph while standard carbon-ceramic brakes can bring the car to a stop from even high speeds quickly and repeatedly.

Originally intended to be produced in 350 examples, McLaren only built 225 citing difficulties created by the COVID-19 pandemic. As the highest-performance iteration of the 'Sports Series' 570S, the 620R rewards its drivers with an unforgettable driving experience whether on regular streets or, ideally, a closed circuit.
