The C8 Corvette is an evolutionary sports car that has Chevrolet keeping pace with supercars from around the world, even those priced 5-10x as much. This Corvette gets it all done in a relatively practical fashion while retaining an exotic look and outstanding performance. All of that is on full display with this stunning 3LT model.

This Corvette is a 1-owner car with 2,700 miles and a spotless history. It is in mint condition throughout as expected from a car with such low miles. The Torch Red paint cannot be missed, especially with all the angles and creases that define the C8 shape. As with previous Corvettes, the roof panel is easily removed and stored in back for spontaneous open-air motoring. This example also has the optional carbon flash painted aluminum wheels (19 front, 20 rear) and painted red calipers.

The mid-mounted engine is Chevrolets impressive LT2. This 6.2L V8 delivers a factory rating of 490 hp along with features like dry sump oiling and direct injection. Power is delivered through a dual clutch 8-speed transmission that can be operated in automatic mode or with paddle shifters. Note this setup is nothing like previous Corvette paddle shifted transmissions, which were just manually controlled automatics. This design is something else entirely with far greater speed and precision.

The tan leather interior looks and smells like that of a new car. Technically called Natural Dipped, this package was only available on 3LT cars and is similar to what you see from Ferrari et al. It really sets the car apart; even the floors capture this color (though they have been protected by additional clear floor mats). While the base C8 is already loaded with features, the $12,000 3LT option takes it a step further. There is far more than can be listed here but highlights include a fantastic 14-speaker sound system, multi-color head-up display, front and rear cameras, heated and cooled GT2 bucket seats, and much more. The smart phone integration is great to have too.

The C8 has been a huge success for Chevrolet. It redefined the Corvettes construction, appearance, and performance after 67 years of production and has set the stage for an exciting future. This example is well optioned, looks fantastic, and is in mint condition. And with an inflation-adjusted sticker price of $92,000 it represents a nice deal as well.
