In 2003, after a 24-year absence, Ford was prepared to resurrect the Mach 1 nameplate. Ford was determined to develop a Mach 1 that would pay homage to the original version. The 2003 Fox-body was refined with a new C-pillar to improve styling.

Classic Car Overview

This Morgan was originally purchased sometime in December of 2018. The following description is based on an information listing the original owner wrote.

Morgan has been built in Malvern since 1909. In 2018 Morgan Motor Car Company of Malvern, Worcestershire, in the UK had a program where you could purchase a complete rolling chassis. The customer needed to supply the V6 motor and six-speed gearbox. The engine and transmission were purchased from Vitesse Global LTD of Leicester. Morgan of New England installed the drivetrain.

The complete vehicle was shipped in an enclosed trailer from New York in December of 2018. The first registration was made in the state of Maryland. Since the car was built with components Maryland required the vehicle to be titled as a Kit.

The original owner believes this to be one of the first Morgans shipped to the East Coast. There are a total of 42 2018 V6 Roadsters that were shipped to the United States.

The engine is a 2018 Ford Mustang V6 3.7L Duratec producing 282 HP. This build is a one-of-one.

The following items were factory-installed. PPG paint number 937450 (Mercedes) Atlantisblau. Leather interior-Yardwood Brooklands Blue, 5 Spoked Pollished wheels with 2 ear knock offs, Air conditioner, Power steering, Bonett with full louvers, Blue carpet, Dash clock, Walnut dash, Front and rear over riders, Polished SS grille mesh, Mohair blue hood and side curtains, Mohair blue side curtain bag, Blue Mohair tonneau, Round door mirrors, Chrome interior mirror, Stainless luggage with side curtain storage, SS door stays, SS bonnet stays, and Easy up hood.

The original owner replaced the stock steering wheel with a 13" three-spoke Moto-Lite wheel with a custom engraved horn button. Walnut shift knob. Installed Sony MEXGS620BT CD player with Bluetooth and adapter for Sirus XM Radio (Subscription required) in a walnut enclosure.
