2019 Mercedes Benz-AMG GLE 43 Coupe - Studio Edition


One owner, purchased it brand new in 2019 to replace another GLE he had as when he saw the Studio edition, he wanted one.

This one has been very well cared for with all maintenance being handled by the Mercedes Benz dealership in NYC.

What made the Studio edition so special was the black-out look and the little touches of orange to offset the black. The exterior, all black, except the orange stripe on the wheels and the the orange stripe on the front splitter.

Inside, all black leather and Alcantara, black wood trim, accented by orange piping on the seats and and orange trim on the floor mats. From day one, the seats have been covered so the original leather is in beautiful condition.

The GLE 43 is an AMG and that means performance in MB speak.

The 3.0L V6 has twin turbos and produces almost 400 HP and close to the same in torque. The 9 speed automatic transmission, putting power to the ground via Mercedes' 4Matic AWD system, propels this 5000lb SUV to 60MPH in just over 5 seconds.

This car has 74,648 miles but looks and drives like it has delivery miles on it.

It would be easier to state what this luxo-hot-rod SUV doesn't have, because as a Mercedes Benz/AMG, it is loaded.

There is a photo of the original window sticker - it will tell you all the specifics, but the fun stuff - Heated, leather,10 way power seats, full touch screen controls - but - analog buttons and dials too!, navigation, blue tooth, ride control settings from comfort, to off road to Sport +. Don't even get me started on Sport + mode. It cranks up the timing, opens up the exhaust, changes shift points, lowers the car - stomp on the gas and it roars and crackles,. upshifting at around 6000 RPM, barking at each one. On deceleration, same thing, just watch the driving video, you'll see what I mean.

Massive 315/40/R21 Michelins in back and 275/45/R21 in front and the 4Matic keep the car glued to the ground.
An extra set of nearly new Blizzaks, mounted on Studio matched black/orange wheels also come with the car.

Sliding glass roof, heated and cooled cup holders, power everything - Mirrors, tilt/telescope, paddle shifters, plus all the nanny safety features that you can turn on and off (lane departure, ant-collision, traction control, blind spot monitor, air bags, etc)

The rear seats fold down and that allows close to 6 feet of space from the tailgate to the back of the front seats, not that you'll be hauling 2x4's in this but it does have some utility aspects of the sUv.

It definitely has the sport but even with that, will average about 20 miles per gallon.

Really a great car, in great condition, with 25K miles left on the warranty.
