There are some scuffs on the chin spoiler and a single scratch and single chip are the only other imperfections we find. Interior Robust plastic formed door panels have a black cloth insert and white stitched vinyl door pull and arm rest. This pattern is borrowed, in part, by the front bucket seats which have white stitched cloth framing and houndstooth inserts of gray and black, and those colors are repeated in the Scat Pack logo on each seat back. The side bolstering is some of the best around on passenger cars while the rear 2+2 seating is less defined but a far cry from 1970. There are belts for three, a pull down armrest, and head restraints for the two main seats. Meaty grips adorn the ergonomic steering wheel along with a plethora of thumb controls leading to a colorful digital instrument cluster now synonymous with modern Mopar muscle. An information screen is in the center and the AM/FM/CD radio has navigation, XM capability, Bluetooth, 8.4 U-connect, and is CarPlay and Android Auto capable. Theres also a reverse camera. In the brushed nickel panel of the center console sits the radio and A/C controls and of course, the stout shifter with nifty indicator panel on the handle itself. Low pile black carpet covers the floor along with WeatherTech mats, looking good, and the formed headliner and overhead console are in great shape, complete with handles if the need for holding on arises, and it will. Gray cloth panels finish the trunk space where spotless conditions are found. Drivetrain A clean engine bay awaits us and is occupied by a 392ci Hemi V8 rated at an astounding 485 horsepower, all backed by an 8-speed Torqueflite automatic transmission and power is routed to the rear wheels and 3.09 gears. Brembo brakes occupy the power disc units on all four wheels. Undercarriage Pretty much spotless underneath with any use barely discernible, and no errant fluids or debris anywhere. The dual exhaust flows in tandem from the cats into original mufflers eventually finding its way to dual chrome tips on each side taking their place in the sculpted rear valance. Suspension consists of Macpherson struts in front and coil springs in back. Drive-Ability Were no strangers to these modern muscle Mopar marvels and the houndstooth interior is a pleasant diversion from typical monochrome black. Were always impressed with the way the interior envelopes the driver with ergonomic precision as the Hemi lights up with an impressive exhaust note that never gets old. We put it in Drive and feather this Merlot colored beauty around the test loop. Needless to say, acceleration is off the charts and handling matches its prowess. Mind your wheel spin because this car rides on 45 series Z rated tires! Meanwhile, every possible function available works as expected.
