The Raptor was Fords answer to a question nobody had officially asked yet: what if you could buy a factory-built desert racing truck and drive it to work? When the idea was first pitched internally, it was a hard sell. When it hit the market, it created an entirely new segment. The 2018 model is the second generation Raptor, and it came back stronger than ever after a two-year hiatus. Ford swapped out the old V8 for a twin turbo 3.5 liter EcoBoost V6 making 450 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque. At 130,000 miles this truck has been driven, which is the point of a Raptor.
