Classic Car Overview
Under the hood, the factory V8 has been thoroughly reimagined with a Whipple supercharger force-feeding air through a Big Gulp cold air intake and a Nick Williams 103mm throttle body, all managed by a Smoothboost controller for precise, controllable power delivery. Long-tube SS headers and a 3 straight-pipe exhaust ensure that every combustion event is announced with authority. This is not subtle, and it was never meant to be.
Power is backed by a Stage 2 transmission build and Stage 2 clutch, shifting through a Hurst short-throw shifter that feels more like a rifle bolt than a gear selector. Stopping power is equally serious, with ZL1 calipers clamping Girodisc rotors and Hawk racing pads braking that inspires confidence well past sane speeds. Z/28 wheels, wrapped with massive 315s in the rear, put all that power down with intent.
Inside, the Black interior has been transformed for competition. A certified cage, race seats, and harnesses put safety and rigidity first. Dual pillar gauge pods display boost and exhaust temperature, complemented by a programmable shift light to keep your eyes forward and your shifts precise. The radio and rear camera function as they should, but both are disabled in the tune. Most speakers and airbags were removed due to the cage this car prioritizes performance over playlists.
