This COPO was bought new as a collectible and has been in climate controlled storage since and is in as-new condition. COPO Camaros are purpose built race cars that run in the mid to high 8s depending on which engine was selected, and has all of the relevant NHRA certified safety gear from the factory. This car was purchased with all three engines: The installed supercharged 5.7 liter, a 6.2 liter LT1 based engine and a 427ci LSX engine with a Bowtie block, Stefs fabricated oil pan, six bolt heads and more. While the car is running with the 5.7 it left Chevrolet with, the other two engines have never been installed or started. It is HIGHLY unusual to find a COPO with all three included! As Chevrolet intended this car to be drag raced at race tracks only it is not street legal anywhere and comes with a bill of sale rather than a title. They were sold over the counter and have a part number (20129562) rather than an VIN number. These cars were built with best-of-the-best parts in order to run against the Ford Mustang Cobra Jets and Dodge Challenger Drag Paks.
