First unveiled on the shores of Lake Como at the Concorso dEleganza Villa dEste in 2016, Zagatos take on the Aston Martin Vanquish took an already attractive car and turned it into a truly spectacular design. Bearing a number of design hallmarks from its coachbuilder, including Zagatos famous double bubble roof and signature wraparound glass, the car remains quintessentially an Aston Martin at first glance, from the grill shape, side strakes, and hints of the Vulcan and One-77 seen in the bladed LED taillights; it is a masterclass in automotive design.

Produced alongside Vanquish convertibles, roadsters, and shooting brakes, all produced in 99 units of each, the Vanquish coupe was arguably the most attractive and subtle body style, equal parts sophisticated and sporty.

Built at Aston Martins factory in Gaydon, Warwickshire, this example was delivered new to its native England in February 2017. It presents just as it left the factory, finished in Scorching Black paintwork over a Pure Black leather interior with the quilted Zagato motif on the seat and headlining alongside full-length herringbone facia trim. It is equipped with the desirable Villa dEste package, an option costing over 16,000, alongside the One-77 style steering wheel trimmed in leather. This package consists of badges, wheel spokes, and side strakes finished in gold, a theme which is continued within the car, and the dashboard vents, centre console switchgear, and steering wheel also feature gold trim.

Acquired by the current owner in December 2017, the car today presents in excellent condition throughout, having been driven less than 1,850 miles from new. Its last service was carried out in November of 2023 at Aston Martin Walton-on-Thames where it received an oil change and brake fluid service.

A spectacular combination of Italian and British craftsmanship, Aston Martins Vanquish Zagato is without doubt one of the most remarkable and attractive cars produced by both companies thus far into the 21st century.
