Classic Car Overview
The 991.1 GT3 ushered in a new era with PDK-only shifting, causing the internet to collectively lose its mind. Fast forward a decade and, funny enough, those same critics are now happily enjoying them. Currently, these are the best value GT3s on the market and, in my opinion, overlooked. The 2015 model year with the F-series engines has been devoid of the prior rod bolt issues found in the E-series engines. More importantly, 1-owner examples like this one that were lightly used, regularly serviced, and not tracked have proven to be void of later engine issues, which are preventable.
This Porsche was built in October of 2014 and sold new on November 30th, 2014 by Porsche of Downtown Los Angeles, California. It was ordered with the following factory options:
Rhodium Silver Metallic Paint
Leather Interior in Black Alcantara with Platinum Stitching
Extended Range Fuel Tank
Front Axle Lift System
Sound Package Plus
Seat Heating Front
Luggage Net in Passenger Footwell
Bi-Xenon Headlights
Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS)
Floor Mats
Porsche Communication Management (PCM) incl. Navigation Module
Wheels Painted in Black
The MSRP was $142,920, which is equivalent to $201,610 in todays dollars.
The current Los Angeles area owner is a Porsche enthusiast who purchased this GT3 new with the help of his good friend and recently passed local Porsche enthusiast, Doug Barron. From day one, he has garaged it under a cover and only used it lightly on the weekend. He made sure to take it out for a drive at least every few weeks. Unfortunately, he lost his home in the Pacific Palisades fire (fortunately, the GT3 was being stored off-site) and is focused on rebuilding his family home. As a result, he just cant use this Porsche as intended and doesn't want it to just sit. The car has been completely unmodified and always dealer-serviced at either the selling Porsche dealer or Porsche of Beverly Hills.

Inspection
Our local independent Porsche specialist just preformed the fresh service above as well as checked over the vehicle. He found it in good condition with no signs of prior damage, repairs, or heavy track use. The average mph from the DME further substantiates its LA daily driver/commuter life. He took a stethoscope to the engine listening for any valve noise and it was fine. He sent the oil out for analysis anyway. He did note noise from the right side muffler.
The exterior of this GT3 is immaculate and has clearly seen an uneventful garaged life. The paint has no PPF and showcases limited use with minimal chips or other flaws. The paint appears to be original, as verified with a paint meter. All the factory panel VIN decals are present. All the exterior trim and light lenses are in good shape. The glass has no major chips or scratches and appears to be all original, including the windshield. The proper factory glass stampings are present. The wheels are in good shape and wearing their factory finish. There are no significant curb rash marks. They are wearing Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires dated 2021/2022. The tires have between 50% and 75% life remaining. The front brakes have between a third and half-life remaining with a slight lip on the rotors. The rear brakes have about 75% life remaining with no lips on the rotors.
The interior is equally as nice and indicative of a low-mile/lightly used example. The leather/Alcantara seats have no rips or heavy signs of use, just some typical mild exit bolster wear. The headliner is in nice shape with no sagging issues. The carpet has no stains or heavy wear marks. The door panels have no major lifting/warping issues, and the dash looks great. The Alcantara steering wheel is showing some typical wear/smoothness. All the gauges work properly along with power windows, mirrors, A/C, and radio.
California registration is paid to December of 2026, and it passes California's smog test.
This Porsche comes with 1 key, the original owners manuals with vinyl case, tool kit, wheel removal socket, flat tire repair kit, tool kit, air compressor, original window sticker, factory indoor car cover, battery tender, and service receipts.
