A Roundup of the Best New Cars Revealed at Pebble Beach

After an 18-year hiatus, BMW has revived the 8 Series name with the BMW Concept 8 Series. The automaker's new flagship model could help the manufacturer compete against Mercedes-Benz, which overtook BMW last year as the world's largest luxury automaker.

Given that the 21st century has seen a sort of return to the roots aspect for the Mustang, it was probably only a matter of time before the Boss 302 made a return. Over the last few years there's been steady and growing interest in the concept of a new-age Trans Am Special.

Classic Car Overview

This stunning 2014 Porsche 911 GT3 come offered for sale in Sapphire Blue Metallic and has been extremely well equipped from the factory with options including: Extended Range Fuel Tank, PDK transmission, Heated Leather and Alcantara seats ($690), 20 GT3 wheels, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB $9,210), Sound Package Plus ($700), LED Dynamic Light System Plus (PDLS Plus $3,110), Sport Chrono Clock ($400), White Clock Dial Face ($500), Painted PCM Display Surround ($2,225), Painted Air Vents ($1,710), Illuminated Door-Sill Guards in Carbon Fiber ($1.640), Auto Dimming Mirrors ($690), Navigation, Instrument Dials in White ($860), SiriusXM Receiver ($1,120), Electronic Logbook ($650), Voice Control ($595), Fire Extinguisher ($140), and a luggage net in the passenger footwell. Optional extras brought the original build price up to $157,745. It has also been upgraded with a Sharkwerks catback exhaust system, the original exhaust was retained by the previous owner and will be included in the sale. The vehicle is in excellent condition overall showing no damage or excessive wear. It has been extremely well maintained since new, its history shows regular service at a local Porsche dealer up until 2021 when its care was entrusted to a very well respected independent Porsche specialist. Just before being offered for sale at 16,404 miles it had an inspection and fresh service that included spark plugs and an oil change. According to a paint meter and trained eyes the paint looks to be all original and the color looks absolutely stunning wherever it goes. The nose is covered in clear film that has done its job protecting the car from damage. The interior is essentially flawless, it looks new from every angle, the Alcantara is still extremely fresh and the leather seat bolsters show almost zero sign of use. 991 generation GT3s features a 3.8 liter direct fuel injection flat-six engine developing 469 hp and uses titanium connecting rods attached to forged pistons to allow the engine to reach up to 9,000 rpm. After a number of engine failures in 2014, it was discovered that the supplier of the connecting rod bolts had made a production error in the alloy of the bolt. Subsequently, all 785 of the GT3s that had been produced up to that point were recalled to the dealership organizations and fitted with new engines, this car included. Porsche thoroughly investigated this issue and extended a 10-year 120,000 mile warranty on all 2014-2016 911 GT3s. The original owner of the car did not want to be without a Porsche to drive and had Porsche buy his car back so he could be on the road with another Porsche as soon as possible. Because of his eagerness, the dealer was forced to perform a Lemon Law Buyback which left this car with a branded title. Any car that was bought back by Porsche also shares this same title brand. This car is an exceptional example of a 991 GT3 and is likely in better condition than most of its counterparts, nothing about the car mechanically is currently an issue and the next owner can take possession worry free.
