The 1967 Corvette is considered the most-loved Corvette ever produced. The combination of classic C2 styling, along with an incredible array of powertrain and comfort options, makes it one of the most desirable Corvettes ever. Not bad for a car that was never supposed to be made!
The ZR-1's production run from 1990-95 was one of the most exciting times for Corvette enthusiasts in recent memory. In the mid-1980s, rumors of a "King of the Hill" Corvette began to leak out of Detroit and into America's speed shops and dealerships.
Classic Car Overview
2014 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible What do you get when you mix composite carbon nano and carbon fiber, lightweight magnesium tubing seat frames, extruded aluminum for the lightweight but incredibly sturdy frame, and put a 6.2 liter LT1 V8 in front? A Corvette Sting Ray of course! For consignment a consigner named Bash Signature Edition Sting Ray with some custom striping color, custom wheels, and the signatures all over this car under the hood, on the engine, under the trundled etc etc etc of various Corvette Celebrities, Executives, Debutantes, Boards of Directors and Engineers, so named the Bash Signature Edition ...literally 1 of 1. Exterior Night Race Blue covers the carbon fiber and nano carbon curved wide, low, sleek, race inspired exterior panels of this car. Silver painted stripes are on the cars hood which dances through the inlets, and also continue on the trunk lid. LED daytime driving lights are within a sculpted covering and share space with HID headlights. A blue cloth convertible top is affixed and works flawlessly with the flick of a button. When down it reveals two miniature bump cowls to mimic the curve of the headrests. At the rear of the car it has borrowed from the Camaro with the quad taillight design no longer round. Peeking out of the center are 4 perfectly spaced exhaust tubes right above the road below. Wheels are silver with painted night race blue inserts. Interior All handcrafted and in GT style, the leather seats grab on to you upon entering. These seats are in showroom condition and present in jet black. They are heated and ventilated for extra comfort. A beautifully curved dash integrates a passenger grab bar for handling those corners at over 1G capabilities. Leather melts with carbon fiber to make up the dash, which has dual hi resolution information screens, a backup screen and navi as well as a hand gesture-controlled tech center. The instrument cluster in front of the driver is a color changing heads up display surrounded by analog dial precise gauges. A smaller leather covered steering wheel lets the driver experience more response with the steering. Black pristine carpet covers the floors and fitted to the trunk interior are gray tone carpeting for this upgraded LT2 interior package. Drivetrain A big powerful but lightweight 6.2 Liter LT1 which is original to this car and puts out 450 horses, is in a clean signature embellished engine bay. EFI feeds the fuel and a 6-speed automatic transmission is attached and a 2.73 rear axle is present and accounted for. Undercarriage All showroom under here we note short/long arm (SLA) double wishbone cast aluminum upper and lower control arms with transverse mounted springs and mono tube shocks on all 4 corners. This utilizes the Z51 package for better performance handling. Power discs with slotted rotors for those corners as well, and a performance exhaust option complete the undercarriage. Drive-Ability Low to the ground and ready to go it fired right up, and I was off to the test track. This car rides like its on rails, and corners just beautifully. With traction control it is very hard to break loose, and it is a very comfortable high-tech interior to boot. All functions work perfectly and its a dream to drive. Probably worth every penny for all that power, ride, handling, tech, and design, its literally like you are driving a piece of modern sculpture.
