2014 Aston Martin Vanquish Centenary Edition Coupe
Built to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the famed English brand, the 2014 Aston Martin Vanquish Centenary Edition is a stunning car with numerous unique features, and is number 52 of just 100 produced globally. Immediately identifiable by its two-tone paint scheme of Skyfall Silver and a graduated Meteorite contrast, the Centenary Edition features a number of unique features both inside and out. Interestingly, even though Aston Martin claims to have made 100 of these special cars, it is estimated that only around 85 were actually produced with possibly fewer than 20 making it to the States.
In addition to the one of a kind paint job, the Centenary Edition also boasts a set of 20-inch 20-spoke wheels in a diamond turned finish, along with a carbon fiber roof, rocker panels, diffuser and front splitter. Out back, the fantastic V12 sound comes out of a set of black textured exhaust tips, while special Sterling Silver bonnet and boot badges adorn the front and rear of the car.
Inside, Aston Martins Deep Soft leather in Obsidian Black features silver contrast stitching, and black Alcantara wraps the seat trim and door panels. In front of the driver sits a squared off steering wheel, like that found on Aston Martins One-77 hypercar, and satin chrome rotary switches fill the center console. The stereo is the upgraded Bang and Olufsen BeoSound 1000W system which includes Bluetooth, navigation and a reversing camera.
Powering this Vanquish is a 5.9-liter V12 that produces 565 horsepower and 457lb-ft of torque, and offers ample power throughout the rev range, while also sounding extraordinary. Power is then sent through a 6-speed Touchtronic II automatic gearbox to the rear wheels. 0-60 happens in just 3.6 seconds and the quarter mile sprint is over in just 11.9 at 121 mph.
This wonderful example also comes with its original leather swag / presentation box which includes 92.5 Sterling cufflinks, pen, and number plaque. The fortunate new owner will also receive the original owners books, umbrella, and battery tender, along with the original window sticker showing an original selling price of $314,312.
There is no question that the Aston Martin Vanquish is a special car to begin with, but when you factor in the special Centenary Edition package, it becomes even more undeniable.
