2013 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe

The 991 made big strides in performance over the outgoing 997 model. These new models are not only faster than the previous 997 models, but they also provide more driver comfort. With 350hp/287 lb ft of torque, these base Carreras are fast with 0-to-60 mph times in 4.4 seconds. While the 7-speed manual transmissions weren't as good as the prior 6-speeds, this 2nd generation PDK made big improvements with not only faster and smoother shifts, but a more engaging experience.

This 911 was built in September of 2012 and sold new by Porsche, Stevens Creek of Santa Clara, California on February 6th, 2013. It was optioned with the following equipment:

The first owner was from Poway, California, and kept this Carrera for 3 years/13k miles. It was serviced at the local Porsche dealer (Porsche San Diego and Hoehn Porsche in Carlsbad). It was traded back to Hoehn Porsche, who certified it and resold it on January 26th, 2016, with 13,883 miles to the next owner from Marina del Rey, California. This owner kept the car for 6 years and added 23k more miles. This owner also continued servicing the car at either Beverly Hills Porsche or Guadin Porsche of Las Vegas. Besides routine factory-recommended services, all the brakes (pads, rotors, and sensors) were replaced on 1/22 at 37,347 miles in preparation for sale. It was sold on March 31st, 2022, at 37,811 miles to the next owner from Huntington Beach, California. This owner only kept the car for 8 months before trading it into Fletcher Jones Audi in Costa Mesa, California. Fletcher Jones performed a service and sold it to the current Orange County enthusiast on November 20th, 2022, with 39,453 miles.

For the past 4 years/25k miles, this owner has used this Carrera as his part-time daily driver. He continued the excellent service program initially at Newport Beach Porsche and then a local top independent specialist. Besides annual oil services, the following additional services were performed:

The exterior of this 911 is in great shape and all original. The paint was checked with a paint meter, and it appears to be original paint. There are some normal light chips/nicks on the front nose from normal use. The headlight plastic lens covers are showing some age. All the exterior lights work along with the electronically controlled rear spoiler. The glass has no major chips or scratches, and the proper factory stampings are visible. The wheels are in good shape with a slight bit of curb rash on the front left wheel. They are wearing Continental tires installed less than a year ago. The tires have at least 75% life remaining. The brakes have between a third and half-life remaining with a slight lip on the rotors.

The interior is equally as nice with light wear commensurate with the age/miles. The leather ventilated sport seats are showing a little bit of wear with a tiny cut between two ventilated perforations on the driver seat bottom. The exit bolsters show very mild wear. The rear seats look new/unused. The headliner has no sagging or other issues. The door panels are in decent shape. Although they have been glued in the past, they are starting to lightly separate at the top, which is common with these cars. The dash has no cracks or warping. All the gauges work properly. The power mirrors, windows, seats, and sunroof all work. The A/C blows cold, and the stereo system operates as it should.

This Carrera starts easily and makes a great sport exhaust rumble, which doesn't drone at speed. The throttle response is much improved with the SprintBooster. Paired with the sport button activated on the center console, the throttle response is immediate. The shift lag is also reduced, which helps the engine move quickly through the rev range. This 911 feels like it has far more horsepower than advertised. The brakes have an excellent initial bite with no fading or pulling. The PDK transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears. The handling is crisp and precise as well as confidence inspiring. If you thought you needed an S, think again. This example is fun to hustle and surprisingly quick.

California registration is paid to April of 2027, and it passes California's strict smog test.

This Porsche comes with two master keys, owners manuals/books with vinyl case, original maintenance booklet with dealer stamps, tool kit, air compressor, flat repair kit, wheel locks with wheel lock socket key, service receipts, and windshield sun shade.
