Chevrolet was now at their 60th anniversary for the Corvette and with a milestone like that, they were sure to make this one as great as it gets. The standard models came with a beastly 6.2L LS3 which was rated at 430 horsepower but with the option to improve that number if adding the dual-mode exhaust which not only helped the power but added to the sound of it as well. The Grand Sport option was using the same engine but with the manual transmission added, you received the bonus of a dry-sump oiling system which saves your power and reliability when taking those hard turns around the neighborhood, err I mean track. With all the emphasis on sporting performance and increased drivability, this Corvette was well designed on the inside of the cabin as well. The overall comfort is plain to see but when sitting inside you really notice the extra shoulder, hip and leg room even considering its low stance.
