Under the hood is a supercharged 6.2-liter LS9 V8 engine that originally produced 638 horsepower and 604 lb-ft of torque, which is sent through a six-speed manual transmission to the rear wheels. The engine is not stock, however, having received a K&N carbon fiber cold-air intake system, a Lingenfelter supercharger pulley upgrade, an Innovators West harmonic balancer, a DSX Tuning flex fuel kit, a DSX Tuning auxiliary fuel pump, LME valve springs, upgraded pushrods, Injector Dynamics ID1350 fuel injectors, Kooks 2 long-tube headers, and off-road X-pipe, among many other modifications. This icon sits on 19 front and 20 rear Forgestar F14 wheels and is finished in Blade Silver Metallic, a striking color that perfectly suits this cars aggressive lines. Chevrolet outfitted this icon with a carbon fiber hood, carbon fiber fenders, a carbon fiber front lip, carbon fiber side skirts, a carbon fiber ducktail spoiler, and carbon fiber B-pillars.
