Carlisle Blue was a color created by Chevrolet Corvette to honor the long-standing Corvette enthusiast community centered around the Corvettes at Carlisle event in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, one of the largest and most celebrated Corvette gatherings in the world. Introduced for the 2012 model year, this metallic blue color symbolized the deep connection between Chevrolet and its loyal fanbase, many of whom attend the Carlisle event annually to showcase cars, trade parts, and celebrate Corvette heritage. The color was produced in limited numbers (around 535 cars, only 243 Grand Sports produced), making it both a tribute Corvette to the passion that has sustained the Corvette legacy for almost 80 years that the Corvette production line has been running.
