2012 Cadillac CTSV Coupe For Sale This 2012 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe pairs the factory supercharged 6.2L LSA V8 with the Tremec 6-speed manual, a combination the consignor reports as 1 of 31 built in White Diamond Tricoat with the manual transmission. Power comes from the LSA, tuned by Big 3 Racing to a claimed 820 horsepower on E85. The supporting fuel and airflow package includes a 104mm throttle body and 1,300cc injectors, a ported blower snout for improved inlet flow, and a Brian Tooley Racing stage 3 cam and valvetrain. Long tube headers feed new high-flow catalytic converters and a Corsa exhaust, and the superchargers intercooler cooling assembly, a factory weak point known to collapse and reduce coolant flow under boost, has been reinforced to hold up to the added output. A heavy-duty clutch has been installed to handle the power increase through the manual gearbox. Handling has been addressed with Eibach 1-inch lowering springs and new rear magnetic shocks, keeping the factory Magnetic Ride Control system in play with fresh hardware. A Pedal Commander adjusts throttle response, and the car rides on new Nitto tires with a new battery installed. Inside, the black interior features heated and ventilated Recaro performance seats, a carbon-fiber-look center stack, navigation, tinted windows, and a power sunroof, with 50,000 miles on the odometer. The LSA in this CTS-V is closely related to the LS9 that powered the C6 Corvette ZR1 and shares its core architecture with the Camaro ZL1s engine of the same name, using a smaller 1.9L supercharger against the LS9s 2.3L unit and making 556 horsepower in stock factory form. The CTS-V Coupe was only built from 2011 through 2015, and when the third-generation CTS-V arrived for 2016, it came as a sedan only, with no coupe body style and no manual transmission offered again. That makes this generations two-door, manual-equipped CTS-V the only version of the model ever built that way, and the last one Cadillac will build.
