This 2009 Porsche 911 GT2 is one of approximately 20 U.S.-market examples produced for the model year and shows just 4,900 miles. Finished in Carrara White over black leather and microsuede, it is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six paired with a six-speed manual transaxle and a locking rear differential. Equipment includes silver 19 GT2 wheels, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), xenon headlights with washers, carbon-fiber sport bucket seats, Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation, a Bose sound system, and automatic climate control.
The GT2 distinguishes itself from the standard 997 lineup with lightweight aluminum doors and trunk lid, a fixed rear wing with integrated air intakes, an aggressive front bumper with large air inlets, and a front lip spoiler. This example is finished in Carrara White and features xenon headlights with washers, clear side marker lenses, and dual exhaust outlets.
The silver-finished 19 GT2 wheels wear Michelin tires. Compared with the contemporary 911 Turbo, the GT2 features a 1-inch lower ride height, stiffer dampers, and higher spring rates as part of its Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) system. The PCCB braking system includes yellow six- and four-piston calipers paired with cross-drilled ceramic composite rotors.
Inside, the carbon-fiber sport bucket seats are trimmed in black leather and microsuede with Guards Red seatbelts and contrasting stitching that extends across the dashboard, door panels, and center console. Amenities include PCM with navigation, a Bose surround-sound system, cruise control, automatic climate control, and carpeted floor mats.
The microsuede-wrapped steering wheel frames a central tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, a 225-mph speedometer, and gauges for oil temperature, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The digital odometer shows just 4,900 miles.
The twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six was factory rated at 530 horsepower and 505 lb-ft of torque, making the GT2 the most powerful road-going 997 of its era. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a locking differential.
