2009 Pontiac Solstice GXP Coupe
Coupe Car for sale in Troy, Michigan 48098
After an 18-year hiatus, BMW has revived the 8 Series name with the BMW Concept 8 Series. The automaker's new flagship model could help the manufacturer compete against Mercedes-Benz, which overtook BMW last year as the world's largest luxury automaker.
Given that the 21st century has seen a sort of return to the roots aspect for the Mustang, it was probably only a matter of time before the Boss 302 made a return. Over the last few years there's been steady and growing interest in the concept of a new-age Trans Am Special.

Classic Car Overview
2009 Pontiac Solstice GXP Coupe $38,500
Here is our 2009 Brazen (Orange) Solstice GXP Coupe with 5 speed manual for sale with only 810 actual miles on the date of this listing. This car is loaded up with all the performance goodies, as well as the typical AC, XM radio, OnStar, and power everything.
It was bought new outside of Jacksonville, Florida, and driven directly to a suburb of Tampa, Florida, where it was put into storage. While it was intended to stay in storage for only a limited time, plans changed and the GXP waited, covered with its fitted California cover, stabilized fuel, locked away from the sun and elements. It was taken out of storage once every six months, fired up and driven on a maintenance run, serviced with fresh synthetic oil at least every year, and returned to storage. The car was stored with packs of desiccant to eliminate any moisture, and balled up gym socks stuffed into the exhaust pipes. It was sprung free in late May, packed into an enclosed carrier, and brought up to Michigan (our home) where it is being put up for sale. The title, registration, plates and insurance are all still from Florida.
This car is more than special. With only 1,226 total hardtop Solstices built, most are black, or have automatics. There were only 8 of these Brazen GXPs with 5 speed manuals on the line in 2009, and two were for export. This car is one of only 6 on the road in the United States! With its high metallic paint, the car appears more yellow orange in the daylight, and red orange at night. Black leather interior with red stitched highlights put the best finishing touches on the car. The removable targa roof has never been unlatched. The optional soft top is still in its unopened original plastic bag, as seen in the pictures. The plastic film covering the rocker garnish is still in place, and the original (not a copy) window sticker is intact and included, along with the original sales brochure.
For performance, this car is upfitted with the GM larger turbocharger, (same as Cadillac ATS), cat-back (Magnaflow) exhaust, and Fujita air intake. These push the horsepower well over the basic 265hp, while maintaining GM plug-in computer analysis and maintenance. The only thing not original to the car is the battery, which was changed when the car was delivered to Michigan.
If you are looking for a long term investment car with outstanding looks and reliable performance, this is for you.
