The convertible counterpart to the harder-edged 430 Scuderia, the Scuderia Spider 16M was named in celebration of Ferrari landing its record-extending 16th Formula 1 Constructors World Championship title in 2008. Powered by a naturally aspirated 4.3-litre V-8 engine generating 510 PS, it entered a limited production run of 499 stated examples.

According to the accompanying Warranty Card, the car offered here was delivered new to Munich on 21 September 2009 via Lais Power GmbH. Wearing vibrant Rosso Scuderia paintwork, contrasted by a Nero folding roof, the Ferrari benefits from a black centre stripe in addition to the carbon fibre exterior package and Rosso Scuderia callipers for the carbon-ceramic brakes. Meanwhile, the focused Nero Alcantara interior is home to carbon fibre racing seats featuring Cavallinos stitched into the headrests in Rosso thread, a set of Bianco instrument dials, and was equipped with Bluetooth connectivity.

This Scuderia Spider 16M is complemented by its leather folio containing owners guides and the service book. Stamps in the latter record two visits to Mille Miglia Motors, the official Ferrari dealer for Starnberg, with services carried out in August 2010 and May 2012. Subsequently purchased by an owner in Austria, this example was serviced again in June 2016 by Wolfgang Denzel Auto of Vienna, then by Scuderia Gohm of V sendorf in May 2021. Official Ferrari dealer Ing H Pichler Ges in Wels, Austria serviced the car in March 2024, at which time the odometer was noted as showing 25,972 kilometres.

Returning to Germany, the Scuderia Spider 16M was acquired by the vendor via Ferrari Autohaus Bl chl in Osterhofen. At the time of cataloguing, the odometer displayed 27,270 kilometres from new.

Given its limited production run, the Scuderia Spider 16M remains a highly collectible Ferrari one that would be just as at home on the open roads as it would be on track or on display at all manner of supercar events.
