2008 Honda S2000 CR

This 2008 model year S2000CR was built in October of 2007 and sold at Honda of Kirkland on November 23, 2007. This car has remained in the Pacific Northwest with its sole original owner from new. This S2000CR wears all of its original Berlina Black paintwork and has the factory optional Air conditioning, CD stereo, and locking wheel nuts. Fun fact: 668 CRs were produced for 2008 of which 249 were finished in Black with the AC/Audio package. The current odometer is 73,581miles but you would never know this by looking at the car in how well it has been cared for over the years. A large 3-ring binder of maintenance records shows the extensive service history and the dedication of a meticulous, caring owner. Only some minor road rash on the front end and a few rock chips (now filled) in the windshield hint at the mileage. The owner had black sheeps fleece covers installed when the car was new so the seats look fresh today with virtually no visible wear. The hard top is also in as-new condition. All original vin ID decals are fixed to body panels and bumpers. All of the original keys (3 master keys, 2 remotes, 1 valet key) are present. The complete owners manual set, blue vinyl pouch, radio code card, window sticker, original sales invoice, salesman business cards, full service records, and mint condition original S2000 floor mats also come with the car. The Bridgestone Potenza tires have like new tread and were installed in 2019 at 72,500 miles along with new front/rear brake pads and rotors.

Everything is stock and unmodified making this car an excellent choice for the true enthusiast or collector. All equipment functions as designed, we just performed a fresh oil service, brake fluid flush, coolant change, new Optima battery, new wiper blades, and safety inspection which checked out great. The undercarriage is very clean with no signs of corrosion or road grime buildup, likewise to the engine bay. The car has a clear WA title and comes with a clean CarFax report.

The Honda S2000 has already been solidified as a future classic, with stock examples getting harder to find as time goes on. In 2008 The CR (Club Racer) edition made its debut. The CR was the track-focused version of the roadster for the owner that wanted a more spirited canyon carver. Powered by a 237HP, DOHC 16-valve, 2.2-liter VTEC, inline-four cylinder, mated to a close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission with a limited-slip differential reveals a true enthusiast spec sports car. The CR also added firmer suspension, quicker steering, thicker anti-roll bars, wider tires, and a big brace to stiffen up the chassis mounted behind the seats. To save weight Honda deleted the soft top, spare tire, some sound deadening, and air-conditioning and a stereo were optional equipment. A lightweight, removable aluminum hard top was standard. The exterior of the CR gained an aggressive front air dam, gunmetal grey-finished wheels, twin aero-design fairings behind the headrests, and a large rear wing for added downforce. Inside the cabin, the CR has very attractive, grippy, and comfortable black alcantara sport seats with yellow mesh inserts. The door panels are also black alcantara with yellow stitching and the shift boot/steering wheel are black leather with yellow stitching while the shift knob is aluminum with a yellow, laser etched gear pattern. Special floor mats with yellow S2000 script were also a unique feature as were carbon printed aluminum accents on the center console and radio door. A total of just 699 CRs were built, making it an instant modern collectable.
