This Black 2008 model year Mustang was built in October of 2007 at the Flat Rock plant and sent directly to Roush Industries for the 427R package conversion which was $15,599. The options fitted added $7041 and include: White gauge face cluster, Short throw shifter with white knob, Dark Charcoal Roush sport leather seats, Competition Grey stripes, Locking lug nuts, Rear quarter window louvers, Roush door sill plates, Big brake kit, Roush Chrome 18-inch wheels. The original MSRP was $50,885. The car was sold new at Wendle Motors of Spokane, WA in April of 2009 and has remained in WA State its whole life. The current owner/collector purchased the car in 2019 with 17,383 miles and has kept the car garaged and pampered. Today the car shows like new throughout with only 18,000 miles. We have just completed an oil service using factory Motorcraft filter & synthetic oil, an inspection was performed and everything is in excellent working condition. Tires are like new and have 2019 date codes. According to Roush documentation this 427R is one of 679 Coupes produced in 2008 and one of only 38 equipped with a manual transmission and Competition Grey stripes. The car retains its original paint, laminated window stickers from Ford and Roush, 2 remotes, 2 keys, owner's manuals, wheel lock kit, fitted car cover, Roush 427R floor mats, unused space saver spare tire, Roush license frame, clean CarFax report, clear WA title. The car also has added tinted windows, interior carbon fiber trim kit, and Sirius Sat radio receiver. The 5th generation Ford Mustang (S197) was already a great platform even in stock GT form with its 4.6L 3-valve SOHC V8 but tuner companies like Roush and Saleen took it to a whole different level. Roush is recognized by Ford as an endorsed Performance engineering company and select dealers could offer Roush packages to buyers without affecting the factory warranty. The Roush 427R package ads a supercharger, intake, intercooler, upgraded radiator, air intake, high performance exhaust system, fog lamps, performance tires, billet pedal kit, billet shifter, Roush floor mats, and a tuned ECM which pushes horsepower to an impressive 435/and 400 ft lbs of torque. Other additions include: Roush body kit, hood scoop, rear spoiler, emblems, Roush tuned suspension, stripes, and a numbered badge. With the standard 5-Speed manual gearbox the 427R will achieve zero-60MPH in only 4.9 seconds and the 1/4 mile in 13.1 seconds which is still very respectable performance even today.
