Classic Car Overview
To Be OFFERED AT AUCTION WITHOUT RESERVE at RM Sothebys The Monterey Auction event, 13 - 15 August 2026.
Offered Without Reserve $800,000 - $1,100,000 USD
The Ferrari 430 Scuderia, introduced in 2007, is a high-performance evolution of the 430, developed in partnership with Ferraris legendary Formula 1 driver Michael Schumacher and first shown to the public at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show. Following the same philosophy of the lightweight 360 Challenge Stradale, the 430 Scuderia offered significant enhancements aimed at delivering a superior driving experience, both on and off the track. The Scuderias 4.3-liter V-8 engine was uprated to 503 horsepower and 347 pound-feet of torque. Aided by a reduced curb weight of 2,758 pounds achieved through extensive use of carbon fiber and lightweight materials the Scuderia can accelerate from 0-60 mph in a blistering 3.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 198 mph. Sharing DNA with the F2008, the latest Ferrari to win the F1 Constructors Championship, both cars feature naturally aspirated V-8 power.
Further performance enhancements come via the F1-SuperFast2 transmission, which offered significant improvements in shift timing, as well as the E-Diff2 with F1-Trac traction control, which helped keep the increased power under control. Its aesthetics mirrored the cars track-driven mentality, with notable aerodynamic refinements, including a carbon fiber rear diffuser and revised front bumper. This continued onto the Scuderias interior with full Alcantara upholstery fitted to completely redesigned seats, carbon fiber door panels, and exposed interior body panels.
This example was delivered new to Ferrari of Beverly Hills in 2008. Specified in a stealthy shade of Nero and complemented by optional gold racing stripes, the exterior comes together with Ferraris famous Scuderia Shields and matching black wheels. The window sticker copy on file further confirms a total of just under $29,000 in factory options. Stepping into the cabin over the carbon door sills, luxurious and desirable tan leather covers much of the cabins surfaces and 3D-mesh cloth inserts are accentuated with exterior color matching. A likely uncommon option, the prolific use of leather within the cabin truly elevates the space.
The car would live with its original owner in California and would remain primarily on the West Coast under three more owners before being acquired by its current owner in 2015. Invoices on file confirm the Ferrari received an annual service in April 2026. Four new tires were additionally mounted in 2021. An aftermarket Novitec exhaust allows the powerplant to sing through the gears.
Showing under 6,200 original miles at the time of cataloguing, this Scuderia is ready to enter the custodianship of its next caretaker making an exceptional addition to any collection. To view this car and others currently consigned to this auction, please visit the RM website at rmsothebys.com/auctions/mo26/.
