The Most Desirable Corvette Ever?

The 1967 Corvette is considered the most-loved Corvette ever produced. The combination of classic C2 styling, along with an incredible array of powertrain and comfort options, makes it one of the most desirable Corvettes ever. Not bad for a car that was never supposed to be made!

The ZR-1's production run from 1990-95 was one of the most exciting times for Corvette enthusiasts in recent memory. In the mid-1980s, rumors of a "King of the Hill" Corvette began to leak out of Detroit and into America's speed shops and dealerships.

Classic Car Overview

The C6 Vette introduced new body, revised suspension, a larger passenger compartment and a all new V8 engine as well as exposed headlamps, the first time since they had flip up lights starting in 1963. The C6 performance was starting gain its momentum back as well as achieving excellent fuel economy with an estimated 30 MPG on the highway while traveling at 70 MPH with the A/C on. This is not your ordinary Corvette though, not only has it only traveled 26,000 miles from new, it has also been tuned by Callaway from new. It was ordered as a standard coupe with the only options being an automatic transmission, Z51 performance suspension and Velocity Yellow paint. Upon its arrival at Callaway cars in Connecticut, it received the $18,500 engine upgrade as well as the $24,045 cosmetic upgrade. The engine upgrade included the Eaton 2000cc Roots-type supercharger, integral intercooler that gives the engine 7psi of boost, stainless exhaust, bigger fuel injector and auxiliary fuel pump. The cosmetic upgrades included a wheel and tire package, body colored engine dress up kit, new hood, stripe kit, new sills and floor mats as well as a serial numbered Callaway dash plaque. This car other than one small tear in the driver bolster is like new that has been very well maintained with excellent storage. The paint looks like new and the car goes down the road beautifully and extremely fast. This car is ready to go.
