2007 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Coupe

Gateway Classic Cars of Charlotte is proud to digitally present this 2007 Ford Shelby GT500 represents the perfect combination of Shelby heritage and modern high-horsepower performance. Powered by a heavily upgraded 5.4L DOHC Supercharged V8 paired with a Tremec 6-speed manual transmission, this professionally built GT500 delivers exceptional street and track capability while maintaining the classic styling that made the Shelby name legendary.

At the heart of this build is a massive 4.5L Whipple Crusher Supercharger feeding the 32-valve V8 through a JLT Big Air Induction system and a 137mm Ford Racing throttle body. Supporting modifications include 2200cc fuel injectors, an upgraded fuel management system, performance coil packs, plugs, wires, and new pulleys and belts. Engine calibration is handled through an SCT tuner with a custom tune from Lund Racing, providing outstanding drivability and power delivery.

The drivetrain has been upgraded with a Ford Performance Racing clutch, short-throw shifter, Ford Racing 3.55 gears, front line lock system, Steeda Racing adjustable third member, and traction bars to effectively transfer power to the pavement. The suspension benefits from the factory SVT-tuned performance suspension, delivering excellent handling characteristics and road manners.

Exhaust duties are handled by Bassani long-tube headers feeding a Bassani race-ready performance exhaust system, producing an aggressive exhaust note worthy of the Shelby name.

Braking performance comes courtesy of Brembo front brakes featuring massive 14-inch vented rotors and performance calipers, complemented by 11.8-inch vented rear disc brakes for confident stopping power.

The exterior showcases a unique Cobra-style functional hood, rear spoiler, fog lamps, and bright machined aluminum wheels wrapped in Nitto NT555 G2 performance tires front and rear. The combination of Silver paint, Shelby stripes, and aggressive stance creates an unmistakable presence wherever it goes.

Inside, the black leather interior remains true to the GT500s performance heritage while offering comfort and convenience. Features include Carl Shelby auxiliary gauges, the premium Shaker 500 audio system, and air conditioning.
