Iconic American Muscle- The 2006 Ford Mustang GT was part of the fifth generation of this iconic American muscle car, known for powerful performance and classic styling. The 06 model year featured a refreshed design that paid homage to the Mustangs heritage but incorporated modern elements for a contemporary look. Power Under The Hood- Horsepower is provided by a cast-iron 4.6-liter, DOHC modular Ford V-8. This engine is fitted with a Ford Racing-Whipple Supercharger Kit that includes a 2.3L twin screw supercharger, aluminum intake, 32-lb High Impedance injectors and cold air intake. The engine is tuned with the Ford ProCal Calibration Tool and exhaust is routed through Ford Racing ceramic headers/performance mufflers. Torque is delivered by a 5-speed automatic transmission to a limited-slip differential w/3.73:1 gearing. Handling For Road Hugging Fun- The GT chassis is equipped with power steering and 4-wheel ABS power disc brakes w/Baer slotted rotors. Front suspension is MacPherson strut w/HD sway bar, and the rear is a live axle w/coil springs and HD sway bar. This Mustang GT is ready for a new owner and some serious fun.
