The Ferrari F430 was the realization of a new, upgraded version of Ferraris initial 21st-century sports car, the 360 Modena. Debuting as a berlinetta at the 2004 Paris Motor Show, less than a year later, Ferrari unveiled the spider version in March 2005 at the Geneva International Motor Show.
Though similar in philosophy and design to the 360, the F430 was the necessary successor; its mechanical improvements and updated styling ushered in a new era of performance Ferraris. Its contemporary looks incorporated cues from the 1961 Ferrari 156 Grand Prix racecar most notably, the shark nose front intakes. The model also featured larger side intakes, a race-inspired rear diffuser, and Enzo-style taillights and rear glass treatment, all of which accented the overall aggression of the F430.
Technical advancements were in no short supply on the F430, which utilized a brand-new 4.3-liter 90-degree flat-plane-crank V-8 producing 480 horsepower at 8,500 rpm. A paddle-operated semi-automatic F1 transmission came standard on the F430, although a six-speed manual transmission (featuring Ferraris famous chrome gated shift assembly) was available in very limited numbers for only the most discerning tifosi.
In total, some 15,000 were produced with all but around 10 percent understood to have been specified with paddle-shift transmission. The car offered is one of the few with the classic open-gate manual gearbox, making it particularly desirable, the F430 being the final mid-engined Ferrari to have this iconic option. Delivered new to Ferrari of Beverly Hills, California, it is finished in a stunning shade of Tour de France Blu with yellow brake calipers and Scuderia shields. The interior complements this tastefully with a combination of tan and medium blue leather covering the upper dashboard, steering wheel, and Daytona-style inserts on the powered seats. Additional factory equipment includes 19-inch Challenge-style wheels, an upholstered leather headliner, a leather rear shelf, a high-fidelity sound system, and mobile phone connectivity. Of those very few manual F430 coupes produced for the US market, this examples rarity is elevated thanks to the extraordinarily unique color options and makes for quite the collector item.
According to an invoice on file dated January 2026, the Ferrari was treated to a 100-point inspection which resulted in an oil change, brake fluid flush, and the installation of new air and oil filters. Additionally, an annual service was performed by Ferrari of Washington, DC, in March 2023. As presented today, the odometer displays 11,717 miles at the time of cataloguing.
This stunning six-speed F430 berlinetta is accompanied by its owners books, window sticker copy, service invoices, and tools. With its combination of fantastic looks and exceptional performance, this exceedingly well-configured example is ready to command the most winding of roads with the pleasure of spirited driving or rest appreciating in the best of collections alongside other blue-chip supercars. To view this car and others currently consigned to this auction, please visit the RM website at rmsothebys.com/auctions/mo26/.
