Classic Car Overview

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this extremely rare 2006 Chevrolet SSR! This gorgeous vehicle comes in a head turning two tone black and silver paint job complemented by an immaculate smokin asphalt interior. Powering the SSR is the legendary LS2 6.0-liter V8 motor mated to a smooth shifting automatic transmission. As one would expect from a top tier muscle truck, the SSR comes fully loaded including a power convertible top. Additionally, this example features a full custom exhaust with electronic cut outs, upgraded audio system and new tires. The SSR comes to us from a serious collector and as such was always properly maintained and stored. So, if youre in the market for something a little different that is sure to turn some heads, this SSR is for you. Please call or email us for more information.

Chevrolet is no secret on building fast and powerful vehicles that provide a ton of muscle for little money. The SSR is one that is destined to be a future collectible. The car debuted at the Detroit auto show in 2000 and the reaction was immediate, customers running into their local Chevy dealership to reserve their spot in line for the concept that was soon to become a reality in 2003. GM green-lighted the concept with a few modest changes to the concept, but the biggest let down was the engine and transmission. Automatic and a wimpy 5.3L V8 was the standard setup and turned the hot rod concept into a utility machine. Fast forward to 2005 and Chevy turned up the performance with the Corvette-based 6.0L and availability of the 6spd manual transmission. Now with 390HP and a 0-60 time of 5.5seconds this vehicle had the looks, power, and the rarity. Only 7,196 SSRs were produced for the USA market.
