2006 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible

STILL LIKE NEW! As of Jan.5, 2026 mileage is 9,257. Haggerty has manual trans at $37,400 and my Auto/Trans FOR $33,600. This car is worth it. I bought the 06 Corvette at Nissan of Chattanooga East on Sept. 26, 2022 with 6,246 miles. The salesman said that a older couple traded it in for new car. The car has always been garaged. Once I looked it over I was very happy with what I saw. The car was flawless! It has a CLEAN TITLE!! I had the alignment checked and it was fine. I have put 3,000 miles in 3 years.
This is my first Corvette. I wanted to keep the Vette for a couple of years. I am now selling it because I have 6 cars now and want to get back down to 4 cars.
I knew that I needed to update a few things. My first project was to install a Summit Racing Harmonic Balancer with an ARP bolt. GM Balancers were terrible and even fell apart. Job was a little tough, but I got it in. Other items included: New GM A/T linkage, upper and Lower radiator hoses and a new thermostat and fresh Valvoline Dexcool Antifreeze, Flushed and renewed the power steering with Prestone fluid, Bothe serp belts, Replaced radio with a Pioneer DMH-241EX 6.2 Touchscreen and added a back up camera. The original radio had frozen up and did not want to work properly. Added two Polk Audio rear speakers, Installed a used HUD (Heads Up Display), Added a lifetime K&N cabin filter. All totaled, I spent about $2,000 my first 2 months. Replaced a top latch switch, Took car to Days Chevrolet for a recall and they intstalled the wiring harness for the head lamps, Just changed the oil with Castrol Edge Synthetic 20K mi. and a Fram Ultra Synthetic XG3506 filter in Aug. 20, 2025 @ 9,214 miles and installed an oil level/temperature gage that goes in outside of the oil pan. Had a set of Continental Extreme DWS06 plus tires on Nov, 2023 @ 8,441 miles, ($1,272.30).
The car is a blast to drive. Love that 400 horse power and 400 Torque. The car has no scratches. The interior is perfect. Top is perfect. I only drove it with the top down on nice days.
Only issue is that the side mirrors don't stay in place. Always needs to be reset.
