No Scammers! Back up for sale is a 2005 SSR Indy Parade Truck ( not Pace ). Is #61 of 74 SSR's provided to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway by GM for the 2005 Indy 500 and of those is 1 of 34 to retain the Indy 500 graphics (the speedway kept and rebadged 40 of them for the Brickyard 400 later in the year). The 74 SSR's were pulled directly from production and have sequential VIN Numbers and were all Slingshot Yellow. Vehicle was used to shuttle celebrities and other around the track and for Parade/Festival Duties and is NOT a Pace Car. LS2 V8, 4L75E Auto Transmission, convertible hardtop.
#61 had Parade Passenger Brian Williams, affiliated with NNC Group. He is/was the director at NNC Group and was on the board of directors for "The 500 Festival Board of Directors" according to the Indianapolis Recorder article on May 20, 2005, Page 7. The SSR was owned by my father since 2006 as the 2nd owner since the speedway and purchased it from the 1st owner who was a car dealer who purchased it from the speedway auction. The car is "as from GM" or "as from the 500" with the only following exceptions: 1) Oil 2) Oil Filter 3) ECM had to be changed after a battery failure 10+ years ago (original ECM is included with vehicle) 4) New Battery.
