This new model uses a new brake-by-wire system known as SBC (Sensotronic Brake Control), and is also equipped with the same ABC (Active Body Control) active suspension as in the S Class and CL.
The cabin features heated and power-adjustable seats that are upholstered in Stone leather. Amenities include seat-position memory, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, a remote CD changer, a Bose sound system, and COMAND with navigation. The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level.
The car is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) and features a power-folding convertible hardtop, xenon headlights, fog lights, dual exhaust outlets, and fender air vents. The 18 Avior wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires, which were fitted in October 2020. The car features Active Body Control (ABC) suspension as well as an Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and Automatic Slip Control (ASR).
The 5.0-liter M113 V8 was factory rated at 302 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed automatic transmission. Recently it has been serviced for motor mounts, valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, suspension control arms, air filter and fuel filter. Also had front brake rotors and pads changed.
