Classic Car Overview

To Be OFFERED AT AUCTION WITHOUT RESERVE at RM Sothebys Arizona event, 23 January 2026.
Offered Without Reserve $125,000 - $175,000 USD

  • A stellar example of Ferraris highly regarded V-12 grand tourer
  • Equipped with Daytona-style seats, Scuderia shields, modular wheels, and a leather upholstered parcel shelf
  • Displaying 28,728 miles at cataloguing time
  • Accompanied by a tool kit, owners books, a car cover, and a pair of battery tenders

The Ferrari grand-touring coupe, with its front-mounted V-12 engine and rear-wheel-drive configuration, has long been a staple for Ferrari and the stuff of legends. The formula first took shape in the mid-1950s with the 250 GT and continued its evolution through the 1960s with the impactful 365 GTB/4 Daytona. By 1996, Ferrari was ready to introduce the 550 Maranello. As with many of its predecessors, it featured chart-topping performance coupled with a luxurious interior with a rear parcel shelf and spacious trunk, eminently suitable for extended road trips.

Building on the 550 Maranello, Ferrari introduced the 575M six years later. The M, for Modificata, signified both performance and design upgrades, including a more powerful 5.75-liter V-12 engine, larger brake discs, an adaptive suspension that minimized pitch during shifting, updated front fascia, and a refreshed interior. Possibly the most notable change was the introduction of a Magneti Marelli paddle-shifted F1 transmission. Based on Formula 1 technology, the vast majority of buyers opted to outfit their 575M with this option.

Originally delivered to its first owner in the Houston, Texas, metropolitan area, this example is finished in the classic shade of Rossa Corsa with a beautiful tan leather interior. Desirable options include Daytona-style seats, Scuderia shields, modular wheels, and a leather upholstered rear parcel shelf. After delivery, the Ferrari would remain registered in the state of Texas until 2024.

In December 2025, Ferrari of Newport Beach performed a cambelt service, installed a new windscreen, and replaced an engine coolant hose and alarm remote. A tool kit, owners books, a car cover, and a pair of battery tenders accompany the sale.

As years go by, the 575M Maranello endures as a cherished Ferrari which saw the firm return to a beloved traditional grand touring formula. With a classic color combination, appealing factory options, and 28,728 miles as of cataloguing time, this example has much to recommend it.
