In 2003, after a 24-year absence, Ford was prepared to resurrect the Mach 1 nameplate. Ford was determined to develop a Mach 1 that would pay homage to the original version. The 2003 Fox-body was refined with a new C-pillar to improve styling.

Classic Car Overview

Chevrolet built the SSR from model years 2003 through 2006 with a total production of just over 24,000 units with 10,676 of those made in 2004. The design of these retro looking trucks were inspired by the late 1940s Advance Design trucks but would feature a much more futuristic retractable hardtop with that design coming out Germany by the company Karmann. SSR stands for SuperSport Roadster which was actually a concept design from the 2000 Detroit Auto Show. This particular show stopper is a very nice two-owner from new, both long term owners is a nice low mileage example that has had excellent care, service and storage with no winters ever. Everything on this truck is stock with nothing modified or changed with everything in good working order including ice-cold A/C. This SSR starts, runs and drives very nicely with no known issues to speak of. This is a very nice modern collectable that can be used and enjoyed.
