The limited editions were made to honor the success of the Chevy C5 racer, and to close out the last production year of the C5 Corvette. The Commemoratives came with LeMans Blue paint, cross-flagged embroidery seat headrests, commemorative wheel centers, and front/back commemorative emblems.
The convertible is unique as it has silver crossed flags on the center interior waterfall panels. The car is also equipped with enhanced special wheels only for this model and other decorative GM factory decals that were installed to show its uniqueness.
This C5 2004 LeMans Blue Metallic / Shale Commemorative Edition Chevrolet Corvette Coupe comes loaded up with the 1SC Preferred Equipment Group ($3,700), G92 Axle, 3.15 Performance Ratio ($395), V49 License Plate Bracket, Front ($15), B84 Moldings, Bodyside, Body Color ($150), and the removable targa top.
