The 1967 Corvette is considered the most-loved Corvette ever produced. The combination of classic C2 styling, along with an incredible array of powertrain and comfort options, makes it one of the most desirable Corvettes ever. Not bad for a car that was never supposed to be made!
The ZR-1's production run from 1990-95 was one of the most exciting times for Corvette enthusiasts in recent memory. In the mid-1980s, rumors of a "King of the Hill" Corvette began to leak out of Detroit and into America's speed shops and dealerships.
Classic Car Overview
2004 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Coupe - 5.7L V8 with 405HP - 6 Speed Manual - Machine Silver over Black - C6 Shifter - Blackwing Air Filter (Please note: If you happen to be viewing this vehicle on a website other than our main website, its possible that only some of our many photographs of this car are not presented due to website limitations. A step up from the already popular C5 generation of Corvette, the Z06 featured a few key changes that GM engineers added to the standard Corvette. Upgraded suspension, larger wheels with bigger tires, brake cooling ducts, reduced soundproofing, lighter than standard titanium exhaust, and a lighter battery are among the awesome extras on the Z06. The resulting car is capable of blistering performance - 0-60 mph comes in about 4 seconds, and the car can pull 0.98 on the skidpad. Definitely a capable performance car that can knock you back with straight line acceleration or handle curves around a track! The Z06 was cheaper in maintenance, and purchase price than many of the other sports car rivals on the market when this car was first offered. Easy to maintain, a powerful engine, and sleek styling made the Z06 a desirable car back when they were new, and the C5 Z06s are still very desirable today. This low mileage Z06 is finished in Machine Silver over black leather. Sitting low on the anthracite colored Z06 wheels, this car has an aggressive stance hinting at its performance capabilities. Brake ducts in the front bumper and aft of the doors, and Z06 badging are the only other hints for those eagle eyed Corvette fans to know that this car is not a standard C5. Inside the car, the interior is standard C5 Corvette, with a few Z06 badges added on the seats, floor mats, and tachometer. A 405hp LS6 is mounted under the hood, which is a bump up in horsepower from the initial 385hp offered when the C5 Z06 was first introduced in 2000. Mated to a 6-speed manual transmission with an upgraded C6 shifter, youll have no problem finding gears quickly. A Blackwing air filter is mounted beneath the hood to feed the LS6 as much air as possible. This low mileage, performance car, finished in a subtle color is a car to consider for your stable if youre looking for a high performance car that is easy to maintain, and can knock your socks off. Itll get you in the 400hp club in a lightweight factory built performance car with the usual options and creature comforts you would expect in a Corvette.
