2003 BMW M3 Coupe

This 2003 BMW M3 coupe is finished in Carbon Black Metallic (416) over black Nappa leather and is powered by a 3.2-liter S54 inline-six, routed to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differential. The car has had four private owners since new, is just short of 64,500 miles currently, and the CARFAX report shows no accidents or other damage. The 3.2-liter S54 inline-six was factory-rated at 333 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. Both VANOS units have been replaced along with the radiator, upper and lower radiator hoses, coolant overflow hose, and coolant sensor. The fuel pump and gasket have been replaced, and a new battery was fitted in 2025. Additional mechanical work includes drive belt and serpentine belt replacement, spark plug replacement, A/C refrigerant recharge, trailing arm bushing replacement on multiple occasions, and washer pump replacement. Oil has been changed consistently with Red Line 10W-60 throughout. A G.A.S. 1.2-bar coolant pressure cap has been fitted. The rear subframe was inspected and cleared. There is no history of issues with or service on the rod bearings.

The black Nappa leather interior retains its factory sport seats. A Bluetooth adapter has been fitted and connects to the factory sound system, allowing wireless audio streaming while retaining the factory head unit. The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel features M-color stitching and frames a 185-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a variable redline along with gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, and fuel level. An aftermarket short shifter was installed, reducing throw and giving the six-speed a more direct and positive shift action compared to stock.

The factory 18 M double-spoke wheels (Style 67) were refinished in Dragster Silver powder coat and are mounted with Bridgestone Potenza RE970AS tires 255/40R18 rear and 245/40R18 front. The suspension has been upgraded with TC Kline double-adjustable Koni front struts with spring perches, Z3/E30-spec rear Koni shocks, TC Kline 450-lb front race springs, 500-lb VVS custom rear springs, rear adjustable spring perch lands, a rear upper shock mount with 12mm rubber bushing, Vorshlag aluminum camber/caster plates, and Rogue Engineering stainless steel rear spring perch reinforcements. A Turner Motorsport 25mm adjustable rear sway bar with end links has also been fitted. All components are documented with receipts. All original factory suspension components and the OEM sway bar have been retained and are included in the sale, giving the next owner the option to return the car to stock specification.

The driver airbag was replaced under the Takata recall campaign at Baron BMW MINI in March 2017 at 57,210 miles. Both left and right satellite airbag sensors and the MRS airbag control module were subsequently replaced and the system reprogrammed at BMW of Fairfax in October 2021, following an airbag warning light. No open recalls are reported on the current CARFAX as of April 2026.

The car is kept in a garage and has no oil leaks or dashboard warning lights.
