2002 Pontiac Firebird Firehawk

STK 3431 2002 Pontiac Firebird Firehawk This 2002 Pontiac Firehawk was one of Pontiacs last true muscle cars. The Firehawk model was an option package to the Formula model. It provided many of the performance features of the Trans Am, but was lighter and more nimble as it did not include Trans Ams heavy ground-effect enhancements. Factory built Formula models were shipped to Street Legal Performance (SLP) in Toms River NJ to be fitted with Firehawk upgrades including an air-induction hood, badging, 17 Firehawk alloy wheels and HD suspension components. This Formula Firehawk has been very well cared for and shows less than 21,000 miles on the odometer. The Sunset Orange Metallic finish is in excellent condition and is accented by Firehawk wheels that mount Nitto 555 performance radials. It is equipped with Firehawk trim, smoked glass T-tops and full rear spoiler. The Firehawk Ram Air hood is a fully functional air induction system. Inside, seating is wrapped in ebony cloth upholstery that is in excellent condition. Convenience features include climate control A/C, premium Delco Monsoon AM/FM/CD sound system, power tinted windows, cruise, power locks, tilt wheel, 6-way power driver seat, Firehawk mats and remote keyless entry/alarm system. The owner has also included a custom car cover. Horsepower is furnished by a 5.7L LS1 V8, a mainstay of the GM performance engines. This LS1 has been upgraded with a silicone bellows intake, K&N air filter, American Racing stainless headers and a Racetronics Fuel System. (Owner is including many of the original components.) The car was tuned at Hawks Motorsports and produced 347bhp on the rear wheel dyno. A 6-speed manual transmission is fitted with a factory optional Hurst shifter and delivers torque to a Torsen positraction differential with 3.42:1 gears. The chassis is equipped with 4-wheel power ABS disc brakes w/drilled/slotted rotors, Hotchkis coil springs, front/rear sway bars and a low restriction dual exhaust.
