It is covered in Pewter metallic paint with a black leather interior and the factory chrome wheels are 17-inches in the front and 18-inches in the rear. This car shows very well. The biggest re-design in Corvette history came with the introduction of the C5 or fifth generation that was built from 1997-2004. It was completely new from head to toe and some of the manufacturing and designs would be carried through to two models later through the C7. It had an all-new, all-aluminum V8 that would churn out over 350 HP and have a top speed in the 175 MPH range. It had a better coefficient drag than seen before as well as being lighter it made for a much more powerful and comfortable car with great road manners.
