2001 Land Rover Range Rover SE

A well maintained 2001 P38. Glassy and classy! Not too many of these left in good condition. This has been my daily driver. I am sad to see it go, but I need the driveway space for something with more seats.

The truck is finished in a deep gray, and features a sunroof, mud flaps, large brush guard, a receiver hitch, a split tailgate, headlight wipers, and fog lights. Blemishes around the body are shown in the gallery.

The factory air suspension has been replaced with a coil spring and shock setup. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel discs including ventilated front rotors.

The cabin features heated power-adjustable front seats and a rear bench upholstered in tan leather, which remains in good condition and extends to the armrests and door panel inserts.

Interior amenities include a cassette stereo, dual-zone automatic climate control, and cruise control.

The 4.6-liter Rover V8 features aluminum construction and was factory rated at 222 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. The digital odometer indicates 125k miles.

It is a 2001 Rover, so she does have some quirks and flaws. Sometimes it gives an ABS / traction warning after driving for 15 minutes or so, but this clears out. Sometimes it also gives a warning that windows / sunroof are not set, but this doesn't seem to be the case. The sunroof does not open. The left side mirror motor is broken. I have not had occasion to use the 4x4 so don't know the status of that feature. Some trim defects are noted in the gallery.
