This Z28 SS Brickyard 400 Pace car Camaro is special and has an interesting history. This car is car #11 of only 55 Camaros that received the Brickyard 400 edition. My understanding is that all 55 Camaros were shipped to the brickyard 400 race and every one of them were used at the event. There are two signatures on the inside trunk lid from 2002 belonging to Scott Settlemire & Joe Roberts, who are the Camaro Brand managers. Scott Settlemire is known as the godfather of the f-body. This Camaro had been sitting in a garage undriven for about 8 years and was purchased by Hemstreet Motors as part of a 5-car collection which included 4 brickyard 400 Camaro pace cars & 1 Indy pace car Fiero. Due to the vehicle sitting for those number of years we did a full mechanical maintenance restoration on it. All of the parts we replaced are listed above and we only used OEM or comparable parts. We also had our friends at Nothing but the details in Warner Robins, GA do a full interior/exterior/Engine bay detail on the car. The paint on this Camaro is original as are the decals, and both are in great condition. The car is in excellent condition and would draw a crowd at your local car show or cruise in.
