2000 Cadillac Eldorado ESC - Coach Builders Convertible The Cadillac Eldorado is a long running luxury car produced from 1952 all the way to 2002. They were produced for 12 generations with this 2000 belonging to the last. It is known as the ESC standing for Eldorado sport coupe. You likely noticed this one is no longer a coupe and is now a convertible. They didnt produce convertibles for this year so companies like Coach Builders Limited stepped in to convert them into ones and fill that hole in the market. The base car had an MSRP of $40,000 which is equivalent of almost $73,000 in todays times. Buyers then had to pay Coach Builders to transform them into convertibles. This is a very nice car painted in gloss Black with a Black power convertible top. The exterior is mostly stock except for the of course the new top and the Coach Builders Limited emblems fixed to both side markers in the rear. It rides on its stock 16 inch Cadillac rims with Nexen tires. Power is provided by the 4.6 L 32 valve Northstar V8 motor that runs great and was regularly serviced. It has 46,460 original miles and in typical Cadillac fashion just glides down the road with plenty of pep. It has a 4 speed automatic transmission with overdrive that moves through the gears with ease. It has power steering, power brakes, and all of the luxury features you could ask for. The interior features a very nice Beige upholstery that has been well cared for. It has power adjustable bucket seats with with a center console with console shift. The dash features very classy wood trim accents and the gauges all work with no warning lights on. Air conditioning, power windows, cruise control, it is all there and all working properly. This very clean Cadillac would be an awesome car to own stock but the fact that it is a customize Coach Builders Limited car it is also a bit of a collectors item.
