Classic Car Overview

1999 Jeep Wrangler SE For consignment a Wrangler with a nearly new Bestop soft top, 93,119 non-verifiable miles, like new knobby tires, a litany of recent maintenance and service completed, and all in good condition ready to get a little mud on the tires. Climb every mountain... Exterior Stone White steel coats the rust free body, which maintains the factory gaps and displays nicely with plain black steel bumpers and black flexible fenders flares. 15-inch factory aluminum wheels which are wrapped in BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A 31x10.50R15 mud slingers. The long running and instantly recognizable Jeep grille leads the way and is flanked by traditional round headlights. The exterior latched hood leads back to the slightly raked windshield which gives support to a nice and nearly new Bestop black canvas top with tinted windows which can be pulled back making an open cockpit and rear passenger area. A nice sound/roll bar stretches from B pillar to B pillar and aids in protection if you happen to get the rubber facing the sky, (hey stuff happens!). A note to the full sized and covered spare hanging off the back-swing mount for it, allowing full access to the rear cargo area. Search high and low... Interior A climb inside and we see cloth and vinyl making up the seats with all seating surfaces now covered in blue camo cloth slipcovers. These are front buckets and a rear bench providing room for 4. The dash utilizes more charcoal for its plastic as well and presents very nicely. A multi-gauge cluster sits in front of the driver and in the center of the dash is the factory AM/FM/Cassette radio, heater control knobs, and ventilation outlets. Charcoal gray carpet covers the floors and shows some wear but is protected by light gray carpeted mats. 2 shifters, one for the transmission and one for the transfer case grow from the console which also provides cupholders, a 12-volt power point, and an ample sized storage compartment. In the rear storage compartment clean charcoal gray carpet is seen. Very nice overall interior. Follow every byway... Drivetrain The 2.5 liter inline 4 cylinder turns this 4x4s screws and is aided in doing so by electronic fuel injection and a 5-speed manual transmission and puts out 120hp. 3.07 geared axles help you climb your way over every obstacle that gets in your path. All the fluids have recently been changed and a complete tune up was performed at 90,000 miles. Our consignor also notes that the alternator was replaced in 2022. Every path you know... Undercarriage Patina and black covers all components of the undercarriage save for the OEM single exhaust system. A few areas show surface rust, and we do note invasive rust on the left rear frame rail that will need attention in the very near future. Independent coil springs upfront, and 4 link with coil springs on the rear along with dual pumpkins for your 4 wheelin. Front power disc brakes and rear power drums for your wilderness stop offs are noted and have recently had new rotors, drums, pads, shoes, calipers and wheel cylinders installed. Fjord every stream... Drive-Ability This baby fires right up, runs smoothly, and all 4 x 4 gears work perfectly. A bit of a ride, but based on the height, pretty good. The tires sing when you cruise, and unfortunately the Classic Auto Mall test area does not have anything over 10 feet in altitude to try to climb. All functions worked as designed and we came back to home base with smiles on our faces. While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase. With recent maintenance this good condition Wrangler, complete with BF Goodrich T/A tires, as well as a nice interior and convertible top if you will is ready to serve. This truck is ready to take you where no man has gone before, or at least the wilds of this country where you can reach new heights and sing its praises. 1J4FY29P1XP429142 1-USA J-Jeep 4-MPV F-4001 Thru 5000 GVWR Y-Wrangler 4x4 2-SE 9-Open Body P-2.5 Liter I4 1-Check Digit X-1999 P-Toledo, OH Assy Plant 429142-Sequential Unit Number Classic Auto Mall is home to more than 1,000 classic and collectible vehicles for sale via consignment in a climate controlled 336,000-square foot showroom (thats more than 8 acres!).
